A photo of a shoe had been viral for the strangest reason in May 2019. There was a viral debacle over shoe's colour. However, many saw the footwear as pink with white laces. But there were people who pointed it as grey colour. And there were even some, who got to see both the colours. However, Wally Thoreson, professor of ophthalmology says, "we see it as one or the other, not in between ". Actual colour of the footwear was pink. Apparently, if the right half of your brain is dominant, you will see the  combination of pink and white, and if your left half is dominant, you will see it in grey and green colour. The theory is that people are either left brained or right brained. NOW WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE IN BEING LEFT BRAINED OR RIGHT BRAINED?? People with the left brain are meant to be practical in their life. Being practical means, being able to take the right decisions at the right time. Dèjà vu How can you know you have seen something you couldn’t possibly have seen before? How strange..... And yes, I have always wondered why do I feel as if I have witnessed some incidents in past though I might have not witnessed them.And,it is called dèjà vu-a french word which means “already seen”-that feeling what you are currently doing has already happened.However there are things your brain is trying to tell you when you experience dèjà vu.While dèjà vu can make you feel like you have known someone, or been somewhere, in a past life, it might be all in your head,according to science.However scientifically reported that, small seizures in the brain responsible for memory formation and retrieval could be the reason something suddenly feels familiar despite your having never experienced it before. BE THE WAY YOU ARE Most of us are timid or shy to accept ourselves  the way we are because we are not happy to accept ourselves. Society also look down on us like we are not perfect. Being beautiful is not about height, weight or color. It's all in your thoughts, intentions, and your unique personality. Young girls always look  upto their favourite celebrity and want to be like them. Whether it is the way they dress or their looks. This is disappointing!we forget that each one of us are unique and have emotions. We should never hide our emotions. We should try to be who we are. Never try to hide your flaws instead try to correct them. Don't go by the comments of the society, your appearance is not you. It is your inner  personalty which is the real you.                                 Red Cross Association   There was a Red Cross Association in Besant Women's College which conducted a program based on medicinal herbs and it's uses on 07/09/19. Incharge and secretary of this association is Madam Deekshitha T. S and M.Manila of second year Bsc FND, the helping hands of this association are Mrs Supraja Ma'am and Mrs Veekshitha Ma'am. The exhibition of medicinal herbs was very informative as well as very well arranged. It was successfully organized by the the  students of the college. The principal Satish Kumar Shetty gave an enlightening speech about the association and later the students sang a song of the Red Cross Association with cheerfulness which met a laudable end.
