Postmodernism feat. Frankenstein

Speaking of postmodernism, in the most layman terms, it is the era where the revolution of man knows no limits. Good and Evil both are born out of man's ambitions and blinded by these ambitions man is moving away from reality. Under the context of Postmodernism, Lyotard's idea of "disappearance of the real" seems very true.
'God alone is the creator of mankind and everything living' was proved wrong by Frankenstein when he created a monster on his own to satisfy his ambitions going against nature's course and not worrying about the chaos that would follow his foolish actions. In today's world everyone has a little bit of Frankenstein inside them, trying to go against nature and it's laws, creating things which will result in chaos. Postmodernism is seen so much these days that the chaos following it fades away in thin air.
Postmodernism since the time of its birth has been feeding off on the idea of constructed reality. Just like how US constructed the idea of Saddam Hussein and his bizarre intentions, just how the US  made it a reality that the Iraqi army can lay a war an has weapons of mass destruction ready whereas the US govt themselves were helping Saddam Hussein both politically and financially through his worst excesses. They literally were successful in constructing a war which destroyed 1000's of lives and what not. This construction of reality where others countries and people are supressed is done just for the power, for the name and title that the country is powerful and so that the country can stand as a monument of post modernism.
The most basic thing in this post modernised world or say in the process of it are the soulless lifeless maniac little gadgets made by humans who do not realise that they are losing themselves trying to create something which can never replace human presence. Just like how Frankenstein created a soulless monster which was never able to replace human presence and it ultimately resulted in the loss of a life(his wife). These gadgets are slowly stealing away the meaning of our  lives. Our social profiles and the lives we portray there are just made up realities, again a little bit of construction of reality here, nothing but the juice of postmodernism.
Due to his never ending ambitions, hunger of his own evolution, desire to leave a benchmark of his own in this disoriented world man can go to any extent and because of this he leaves the whole world fragmented. At one side is his mother nature on the other is this constructed world or the reality we live in where everything is in fragments and nothing makes sense.

  2. The proposition of ideas is interesting. Unfortunately, they aren't expounded properly and this lethargy weighs down your article with the burden of sweeping generalisations.

One such instance, on what basis did you connect US propaganda with the invention of 'gadgets'? And what exactly are 'gadgets'?
Also, how can we conclude that the essence of human inventions are basically rebellious in nature?

Anyhow, your effort is commendable and good luck with your academic pursuit.

  3. Hello Mr. Harsha I am glad you read this piece by Gulsha it's a close reading ... she is a totally new to the area of postmodernism but still attempted this gignatic task of landing the infinite flight named Post Meta Modernism... I am sure her aim was to depict how post modernist condition keeps on connecting infinite dots, creating a whole incoherent worm holish whirpool... but as you pointed out the attempt might not have taken a coherent shape... yet I am sure your appreciation would encourage the writer for future write ups
