"Love Aaj Kal" is a movie directed by Imtiaz Ali, cast consisting of Sara Ali Khan, Karthik Aryan, Randeep Hooda and Arushi Sharma in leading roles, which screened on 14th of January 2020.
Firstly, as the title of the movie makes us to think it as a routine love story but as we watch it, we realize that the concept is more than a love story. The whole story is exclusively relatable to present generation and characters are realistic not idealistic. The major characters names are Raghu as Randeep, Zoe as Sara, Veer as Karthik Arayan. Randeep's role catches everyone’s eye which is very much interesting as it is relatable to youngsters.

Zoe main actress who is so much confused and constantly tries to seek a balance between personal and professional life which I think is completely  relatable to present  situation, the constant dilemma everyone face every day in a relationship is shown so naturally.

Raghu who seems to be the perfect romantic guy who every girl wishes for but eventually you realize that perfection itself is a flawed idea. Coming to the character Veer, there is a lot to talk about Veer and other characters but words will fall short. We just have to keep on exploring them. Leena is an important character by which story takes a turn and Arushi who played this role very well increases the charm of the movie.

Overall, these characters are to be felt and can't be explained. It clears that relationships are never perfect. This movie deals with new age love, confusing nature of young couple, idealistic identity,  and dismantles the idea of perfection. Hooda's narration, Raghu and Leena characters add on to the movie.

The title "Love Aaj Kal" can be described in this way "KAL" (PAST) love is imperfect and that makes the "AAJ" (PRESENT) lover not to make the same
