Eastern world incidence show a decline or a static pattern but the number of drug addicts is still huge. Most of the commonly abused drugs are heroin and Marijuana but designer drugs have also increased as well. The aim of the study is to determine the ratio of drug abuse in the students. For their purpose of higher authority, there should  be a survey conducted on highly reputed colleges and metropolitan cities. Nowadays it's found that out of the major proportion, students are the ones who are mostly abusing drugs. The multiple factors which are the main cause of drug in medical studies include depression and anxiety. Schizophrenia as well as a personality disorder. The most commonly abused drugs includes stimulants, opioids and antihistamines. Although this indicates high rate of illicit and perception drug misuse among college students, few have assessed the negative consequences, personal concerns or intervention on drug use. Drug abuse although regarded as a personality disorder, it can also be called as worldwide epidemic with evolutionary genetic, physiological and environmental influences controlling and affecting human behavior. Globally the use has reached all time high. The study showed that males are more drug abusers as compared to females. The drug abuse ratio in students of private sectors is more compared to government sector. We can solve this problem by creating awareness among the students and the government should impose strict actions to prohibit it.
