BEYOND BEAUTY



Just any other lazy day like a normal teenager ignoring all the deadlines and records I have for the next day I was scrolling through my instagram newsfeed when I came across this really twisted but a true quote which goes like this “And the world will continue to bleed until one thing is understood: Beauty is not an outer expression but an inner feeling and Love is not an inner feeling but an outer expression” author unknown. This is when I started wondering about how the idea of love and beauty go together in today’s world when it shouldn’t be. Everyday infront of the mirror we spend so long trying to look beautiful but not even once we wake up and think that come on lets do something today that will make me feel beautiful from the inside, something that goes beyond my outer physical appearance. In this generation or world people fall for physical appearances rather than knowing the person in and out... what if the person is not on the same wavelength as you are intellectually? What is the point? 
Coming to the love being an outer expression part... the best and the only example I can think of at 2:00 in the night ! Yes I think better at this time!! And that is my mom.. or any mother in this world for that matter... not a single opportunity our mothers would let go to show us how much they love us, that we mean the world to them... not everyone is the same everyone has a different way of showing their love but the main thing here is that the person is doing something, putting in efforts to show their love!! 
How about I raise a sensitive issue(for me yes but doesn’t look so sensitive to people who does it)lets talk about bodyshaming, shall we? It has become so common and is like drinking water to this judgemental society we have around us. We dont  take a single second to think before calling someone ‘fat’ or ‘skinny’ or any other labels. People are so used to it that they think they have some kind of rights to label a person on their physical appearances. Before you label anyone anything ask yourself ‘who am I? Who am I to even think about that in such a way without even knowing who he or she is?’ Just ask yourself this once then proceed! 
Coming back to the beauty and love part... yes we do get attracted to physical appearances, their sense of style maybe but life is not as short as people make it look like... love or a connection between two people is something that demands all of you so make sure you get to know the person even if it takes an eternity!! I rest my case!

Book review : Till the last breath

This book is one of the best books I have ever read. It's a must read. This book tells us how important our lives are and how important it is to live and love. The last chapters made me cry. Now I am a great fan of Durjoy Dutta. He is one of the best writers I have ever seen. Just in love with this book. ‘Till the Last Breath’ is a fiction that revolves around characters i.e, Pihu, Dushyant, Armaan, Zara and Kajal and the line of events that connects their dots together. Storyline goes like : Two different personalities in the same room in the hospital, Room No. 509, perfectly di-pole, where the boy, named Dushyant Roy, an drug-alcoholic, who hate his life, is suffering from severe kidney failure, and on the other bed is an ever-smiling angel, Pihu, both destined to die, and how their life, journey in the room to death is beautifully pictured by Durjoy Datta, who will stun you and surprise you. LOVE AAJ KAL-MOVIE REVIEW "Love Aaj Kal" is a movie directed by Imtiaz Ali, cast consisting of Sara Ali Khan, Karthik Aryan, Randeep Hooda and Arushi Sharma in leading roles, which screened on 14 th of January 2020. Firstly, as the title of the movie makes us to think it as a routine love story but as we watch it, we realize that the concept is more than a love story. The whole story is exclusively relatable to present generation and characters are realistic not idealistic. The major characters names are Raghu as Randeep, Zoe as Sara, Veer as Karthik Arayan. Randeep's role catches everyone’s eye which is very much interesting as it is relatable to youngsters.
